We designed and built Fantasy Cyclocross, a free fantasy sport web app, running on Rails.
We love all sports, particularly cycling, and wanted to explore some of the latest Rails features. Creating a fantasy sport app for Cyclocross in Ruby on Rails seemed an ideal fit.
Users can register for an account, and then pick a team of female and male riders, sticking to an overall budget. Each rider is awarded points based on their finish position at races across the season.
All users automatically join the ‘global’ league, but they can also create private leagues to play against friends.
